DESCRIPTION

 The Portland ESIS Brnach is seeking a Claims Operations Coordinator for its workers’ compensation claims department.

The Claims Operations Coordinator position will report to the technical claims management department and assist with the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office’s leadership team.

The Claims Operations Assistant duties may include, but are not limited to:


  • Office support for the division and assist in the preparation and editing of key deliverables

  • Assist with preparing monthly and/or quarterly reports

  • Arrange Meetings and Conference Calls internally and externally.

  • Assist the office leaders with administrative requests for the departments with a keen ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.

  • Performs administrative duties of a varied nature, such as travel arrangements, logistics for onsite/offsite events and large meetings, coordinate facilities and workspace related requests.

  • Coordination of set-up for desk, phone and computer equipment for new hires and consultants. 

  • Assists in maintaining and updating department records and files (distribution lists, org charts, etc.).

  • Assignment and distribution of claims to the technical claims department representatives

  • Assistance with and/or handling of minimal exposure losses as requested

  • Create/Update presentations and reports in PowerPoint and Excel as requested.

  • Special project support and event coordination as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent

  • Must be proficient in  MS Excel and, MS Word

  • Commitment to quality and willingness to work in a team environment

  • Must be able to function effectively and efficiently in a time sensitive environment

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Proven ability in planning, prioritizing, and organizing diverse workload.

  • Effective interpersonal skills; capable of working with all levels of office personnel in a corporate setting.

  • High degree of professionalism and dependability and a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast pace environment.

  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing work duties and assignments
