About the job

Within our Contherm product center, you will be responsible for the fabrication of quality parts and components that are used to construct our world class scraped surface heat exchanger product line.

In this role, you will be an active member of the Contherm manufacturing team and will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.  From a day-to-day task standpoint, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe(s), manual Lathe(s) and Vertical Milling Machines.


• Machine parts to prints.


• Read measuring tools, Micrometers, Dial Caliper’s, Bore Micrometers and other precision measuring tools.


• Perform other manufacturing tasks as assigned.


• Perform light maintenance on machines.


• Observe all company policies and is consistently at work on time.

What you know

You have excellent organizational skills with an eye focused on quality and enjoy working in a team environment. You have prior experience in:

• A metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.


• Experience working in a machine shop.


• Experience working with CNC Lathes, manual lathes with VCM machine experience a plus.


• Experience reading blueprints and bill of materials


• ISO and 5S experience is desired.


• Accustomed to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment


• Ability to lift 50 pounds

A High School degree or equivalent is required.
