About the job

Within our Contherm product center, you will be responsible for the fulfilment of spare parts orders and assisting with all shipping and receiving functions and processes.

In this role, you will be an active member of the Contherm Production team and will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.  From a day to day task standpoint, you will:


  • Pull and package spare parts orders on a daily basis.

  • Notify Sales / Service in the event of stock outs or late deliveries.

  • Work with purchasing (Production Manager, Production Assistant) to ensure availability of stock items.

  • Report trends and parts order increases to Shipping & Receiving Lead / Production Manager.


  • Manage shipping software

  • Perform cycle counts and conduct physical inventory.

  • Manage shipping consumables.

  • Maintain labeling and part numbering identification.

  • Maintain inventory areas outside of stock room.


  • Receive incoming material, check for accuracy and issue onto the factory floor.

  • Receive manufactured components and process paperwork.

  • Maintain the shop order databases.

  • Load & unload trucks when needed.

  • Assist production with material movement.

What you know

You have excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment. You have prior experience in:


  • A metal fabrication or production environment.

  • Experience in a stock room or inventory control process preferred.

  • Working independently, with a strong attention to detail

  • Microsoft Office Suite

While not required, a bachelors degree is preferred.
