Provides assistance to the General Manager in the completion of daily store operating procedures as assigned.
Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
Follows up on all customer inquiries and/or complaints and establishes conclusions in a timely manner.
Assists in the implementation of the store’s sales objectives by providing direction to the sales staff, promoting sales, preparing products for sales specials and monitoring results to achieve sales goals.
Assists the General Manager to maintain a program for sound employee relations and ensures compliance with established company policies and State regulations.
Assists the General Manager to develop and maintain an effective retail location through the interviewing, training, motivation, and oversight of staff.
Provides guidance and direction to employees to assist in their professional development.
Plans and facilitates training sessions and monthly department meetings.
Monitors inventory levels, determines the need for additional merchandise and accessories and submits purchase requisitions for approval.
Receives and examines deliveries for discrepancies and resolves problems promptly.
Performs quality assurance reviews of serviced vehicles to ensure compliance with JWT service standards and addresses any deficiency with technician prior to delivering the vehicle to the customer.
Maintains the overall appearance of the retail location and grounds in accordance with JWT housekeeping standards by performing repairs or coordinating services with outside vendors.
Performs opening, closing and end of day processing procedures in accordance with JWT guidelines.
Ensures work schedules are posted on a weekly basis and ensures appropriate staffing within budgetary restrictions.
Ensures cash drawers are reconciled accurately on a daily basis and prepares bank deposits.
Oversees employee work flow and completes various administrative tasks in the absence of the general manager.
Executes all employee responsibilities as needed to include assisting customers with selection of merchandise, monitoring work orders, scheduling customers and performing all other related duties.
Attends all required staff meetings, training seminars and maintains required certifications.
Maintains a flexible schedule to include weekend, holiday and evening hours; regularly works between 48 and 54 hours per week and occasionally works over 60 hours per week.
Represents the company through participation at various trade and company sponsored community events.
Performs other related duties as assigned
1-2 years’ experience in a customer-driven business and/or previous management experience

Consistent ability to work +/- 45 hours/week, including Saturdays and evening hours. (Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or until the last customer is served)
