With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Exhibit and Event Services team, located in both Fort Myers and Naples, FL, is responsible for planning, supporting, and executing all tradeshow exhibits and workshops to showcase leading-edge products, and provide post-show performance metrics. The successful candidate will assist with various projects related to conference planning, product display requirements and data reporting.

 

This internship will run from January 2022 – April 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 30 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To gain experience in all three divisions of Exhibit and Event Services. Divisions include Data, Product Display and Planning to help bring outstanding project work up to date.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Review/update Cvent exhibit and workshop data to ensure all data fields are complete and accurate (i.e. review post show reports, strategy reviews, invoice data).

  • Review financial information for exhibit spend to minimize any scrubbing of data. 

  • Enter upcoming events into Salesforce for committee review.

  • Collect data for Post Show Reports.

  • Collect data for "Know Before You Go" emails.

  • Update Staff Contact Cards per show and include in “Know Before you Go” email campaigns.

  • Update Marketing/Sponsorship Documents.

  • Help with model/display inventory to ensure all offsite and onsite models are maintained to the height of our expectations.

  • SAP ordering and inventory maintenance.

  • Assist in checking the daily showrooms we have in-house in addition to room at the Innovation Hotel.

  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL. It is not a remote position.

Education and Experience:


  • Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Resort & Hospitality Management. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

  • Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work in teams as well as on independent projects.

  • Ability to travel to Exhibit department in Fort Myers, FL required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
