As a Development Chemist, you will plan, conduct, and coordinate multiple Industrial Coil products within given time and budget constraints, and with responsibility for decisions and interpretations. In this role, you will develop project objectives, goals, and troubleshoot customer issues. Do you like to supply innovative technical solutions to ambitious problems? If so, read on!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards, and policies to help eliminate health hazards to prevent work stoppage and time loss due to accidents.
• Work closely with the color, manufacturing, and product development teams to ensure the initial product scale up is successful.
• Perform and document generally standardized, routine chemical and physical test of finished goods and compare the results with established standards and customer requirements.
• Assist in crafting new tests or modifying current tests in order to improve coating evaluations and formulations.
• Participate in product adaptability activities for current and new coating technologies to understand operating window and improve chance of launch success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering) with 3+ years' experience along with a proven track record of relevant work experience in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Previous experience with coil preferred.
