Prudential Retirement serves nearly 7,800 public, private and not-for-profit organizations and more than 4.2 million individuals accounts for over $400 billion of retirement account values Under limited supervision, manage the client reporting processes for Prudential Retirement's Defined Benefit, Non Qualified clients and advisors. This position requires a strong partnership with fellow team members and peers in other departments in supporting client reporting and operational activities. The specific core competencies in the following areas are required:   

Responsibilities:



  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for large Defined Benefit Plan Sponsors, Non-Qualified and advisors utilizing data from multiple sources




  • Review internal reports on a monthly basis and communicate results




  • Identify process breakdowns, propose solutions to remedy and work with business partners to implements solutions




  • Partner to create open and ongoing communications to keep workflow running smoothly between internal business partners and service providers




  • Play a key role in the on-going development and service model improvement initiatives with customers and internal partners




  • Achieve excellence in daily work and inspire others by example




  • Encourage accountability and strive for innovation in thinking and in actions



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in financial reporting or investment




  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in financial services




  • Knowledge of and understanding of Retirement Industry (Defined Benefit plan experience a plus)




  • Strong project management skills, the ability to balance team orientation with ability to work independently




  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to VLOOKUP and other complex formula construction, Conditional Formatting, Macros, Pivot Tables, Charts and Reporting)




  • Demonstrated ability to focus on and take ownership for results (i.e. quality, deadlines, goal-setting, and process improvement)




  • Ability to work well under pressure and to easily adapt to changes in priorities to meet marketplace and business needs




  • Strong understanding of investment concepts and/or products within retirement market




  • Well developed oral and written communication skills, ability to translate complex ideas into clear and simple format




  • Ability to demonstrate a pattern of results in achieving desired behavioral out



*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $61,700-$90, 700 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
