As a Windows Server Engineer, the individual will be responsible for configuring and supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure servers, enterprise application installation and configuration, infrastructure design, and troubleshooting. In this role, the Engineer will operate as a subject matter expert (SME) and maintain all production, pre-production, and development of systems in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities
Implements, supports, and maintains Microsoft Windows Server systems infrastructure
Assesses the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems
Researches and initiates system and server upgrades with IT leadership
Installs or upgrades Microsoft Windows Server systems
Provides technical support for staff and back-end system users
Reviews and troubleshoots system error logs and user-reported errors
Manages user access to systems
Maintains server architecture security and creating system backups
Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or more than 5 years prior experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
Must have a minimum of 2012 or higher MCSA/MCSE certification, AZURE certification, or equivalent System Administration Certification.
Must be DOD 8570.01-M IAT II certified with a Security+ CE Certification or Higher
Prior experience with DoD or policies and procedures.
Prior experience with Microsoft Windows Server core services such as DHCP, DFS, ADFS, Certificate Services, IIS, DNS, etc.
Must have prior experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and patching, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and server configuration.
Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Strong ability to work with all levels of management.
Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance
Ability to create scripts in PowerShell.
Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
Must be able to receive and maintain a DoD Secret Personnel Clearance
