We are looking for a Truck Shop Mechanic to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

What you will work on: 

• Diagnosis and repair of all types of engine driven and DC electric powered equipment.  




• Expertise to troubleshoot and repair components such as:   

• Engines 




• Transmissions 




• Differentials 




• Brakes 




• Steering 

• Electric drive units and controls 




• Hoists 




• Hydrostatic drive 




• Hydraulic components 




• Air conditioning 

• Glass replacement 




• Continuous Improvement – we couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.

• The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.   




• Work and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position. 

What you’ll bring: 

• High school graduate or equivalent 




• 5 years journeyperson repair experience in one or more of the following mobile equipment types: industrial, construction, mining, agriculture, heavy truck. 




• Basic computer use required.  




• Must be willing to work all shifts including rotating.
