Location: Sharonville, Ohio





Job Description:

The Warehouse Admin Clerk works at our contract packaging facility, which services a variety of customers with package assembly, kitting, light industrial assembly and blister or clamshell packaging.


In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, organizing, assigning and tracking of all shipping orders. Provide backup to admin as time permits. Assist with daily shipping and receiving functions in visual; UPS/Fedex shipping systems and filing of documentation. Cross-functional skills/training will be required. Warehouse Administrative Personnel will conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner at all times with all employees and outside services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Reading and understanding customer orders and shipping orders.




  • Organizing and prioritizing shipping orders.




  • Directing associates in the prioritization of order picking and staging




  • Tracking shipping orders in MS Excel.






  • Data entry in Visual/Excel/USS. Capable of working in multiple shipping/warehouse systems




  • Capable of communicating and receiving instructions from customer service




  • Maintains shipping records




  • Assist in inventory cycle counts as required and relay shortages, overages and investigation results to the Warehouse Supervisor




  • Seek process improvements






  • Other duties as assigned




Qualifications:


General:




  • Must be capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the job with the appropriate education/experience, language, and other skills and abilities as listed below





Education and/or Experience:




  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)






  • Six months related warehousing experience and/or training





Language Skills:




  • Must be able to organize hard copies of information and verbally direct associates in prioritization of order picking.




  • Must possess the ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in the English language.






  • Must possess the ability to write simple correspondence in the English language.




  • Must possess the ability to effectively present information, in on-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.




Mathematical Skills:




  • Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.





Reasoning Ability:




  • Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.




  • Must possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.





Computer Skills:




  • Required to be computer literate and capable of using a computer for data entry and printing warehouse paperwork. Data entry experience preferred.




  • Required to be MS Excel and MS Word experienced.
