Job Description:

Summary:

The Fulfillment Crew Leader has general responsibility of assisting the Production Manager and Lead by leading production teams on a scheduled shift. Under the direction of the Production Manager and Lead, the Crew Lead is responsible for ensuring that safety and quality policies and procedures are followed, as well as ensuring production meets the company service, targeted goals and cost objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist Production Manager and lead in day-to-day production operations.

* Provide leadership by communicating clear expectations and demonstration of work practices and safety conscious behavior.

* Assisting in the on-time completion of scheduled production.

* Maintain production reports for tracking, and keeps Fulfillment Lead aware of the production area's performance.

* Monitor production line quality to assure products are free of damage and meet any customer required specifications.

* Assist in completing production and assembly as needed.

* Ensure optimal utilization of production space and personnel.

* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

* Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA standards.

* Provide support, direction and assistance to all areas of assigned duties.

* Assure the integrity of the raw materials and finished goods inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories as necessary.

* Back up production floor supervision as needed.

* Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

General:

* 1-2 years of assembly/packaging experience required.

* Must be capable of operating standard office equipment such as computer, copier, and printers.

Education and/or Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

Language/Communication Skills:

* Must be capable of speaking, reading and writing English with excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.

Mathematical Skills:

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

* Excellent attention to detail, quality, safety, problem solving and follow-up.

* Strong sense of urgency and time management skills.

* Highly motivated individual that works well in a team environment or independently.

Computer Skills:

* Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulations), Word and Outlook
