Undergeneral supervision, analyze business and financial results to support thesales organization. Present findings and recommendations to sales management tosolve problems and issues related to sales opportunities. Prepare business andfinancial reports to support decision making and planning.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, maintain, and develop relationships with the customer,sales teams, and vendor community. Leadvarious committees on behalf of customer (ex. value analysis committee).
Serve as initial point of contact for customers' new and existingvendors. Meet with vendors to discuss products, pricing and terms. Presentfindings to key contacts in the customer's procurement team.
Measure the trends, efficiencies and effectiveness of sales andresource allocation and utilization. Prepare and analyze sales forecast, sales results, budget variances, andquarterly business presentations.
Support sales team by managing contract terms, assisting withbrand conversions, and tracking all savings and projects. Make presentations regarding project updates,business results, committee findings, etc.
Review pricing to determine and identify discrepancies. Ensure newpricing rules are reviewed and approved by respective sales teams.
Evaluate 3rd party industry pricing data being marketed and soldto Medline customers to understand what information is being provided andimplications to the Company.
Provide issue resolution in the following areas (not limited to):inventory surplus, backorders, outstanding invoices. Initiate and partner with the internalteams. Communicate resolution in atimely manner.
Collaborate with Sales, IS and Finance to develop, create andmaintain reporting requirements and ensure systems provide accurate and timelydata.

Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in sales analysis and support OR high school diploma and at least 5 years of experience in sales analysis and support.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organization.
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Position requires travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous analytics experience in the healthcare industry.
Previous inventory or supply chain analytics experience.
Experience providing training and developing process documentation/user manuals.
