Job Description:

Issues, receives and stores hand tools and other equipment. Keeps an inventory of consumable production parts and tools. Tracks usage and prepares orders for new parts and material as needed. Maintains records of service/work orders. Inspects tools and equipment for wear and defects, and orders new equipment when needed. Maintains records of tool use. May perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on hand tools, small motors and equipment.

 Locates and checks out tools as requested

 Maintains tools and equipment ready for use

 Coordinates tool maintenance and repair

 Receives, stores and delivers materials or parts

 Completes physical inventory

 Has the ability to operate computer system at appropriate level

 Operates forklift

 Performs basic preventive maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment

 Prepares and distributes purchase requisitions for maintenance of inventory levels
