The Graduate College of the University of Oklahoma is excited to announce our search for an IT Specialist I. This position is part of the new Information Services Team in the Graduate College/Graduate Admissions. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing multiple systems to track and manage graduate student data as well as administration and implementation of a new CRM.
Typical Functions May Include:
Daily system maintenance and reporting (resolving duplicate records, coding issues)
Assist with system troubleshooting for students, faculty, and staff
Manage user permissions and system security
System onboarding (showing new users how to use the new system(s))
Manage data integrations and data integrity
Create metadata documentation
CRM administration and reporting
Provide CRM integration support for data needs internally and with outside vendors
Form creation and maintenance
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
0-24 months of computer programming experience
Skills:
Advanced technology skills with wide knowledge of business software
Experience with sophisticated software programs and technological solutions
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Strong written communication skills, including ability to communicate technical information in an understandable manner to everyday end users of complicated technological systems
Strong initiative to solve problems
Must be able to perform basic data analysis and report-building

Advertised Physical Requirements:
Must be able to engage in repetitive motions and communicate effectively. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods; ability to communicate, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others; ability to use computer daily.
Department Preferences:
Preferred experience with Technolutions Slate, Salesforce, Banner, Cognos
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (knowledge of DAX preferred)
Some knowledge of the higher education recruitment, admissions, enrollment and retention cycle preferred
Experience in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Higher education experience.
