Characterize CVD coated glass samples using Development Center instruments: Lambda 1050 Spectrophotomer, HazeGard, Colorsphere, FTIR, Four Point Probe, and Profilometer.
Become proficient in the use of each piece of equipment listed above
Follow SOPs for each piece of equipment listed above
Record Data in Correct Lab notebook
Present Data to Project managers and Lab technicians on a timely basis.
Compile data as requested
Maintain the laboratory space as a clean safe environment
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Laboratory Support:
Follow detailed plan for Sample Retention so samples can be re-examined at a later date
Assist project managers with laboratory equipment as requested.
Adhere to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
Practice safe work habits including wearing proper PPE.
ISO9001:2000:
Maintain analytical instruments specified by Lab Manager (e.g Color Sphere, HazeGard, Profilometer, etc.)
Maintain Quality records (e.g. laboratory notebook and documents) in accordance with ISO9001:2000 standards.
Qualifications Required:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in the English language (verbal and written).

Proven analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to organize samples and associated data.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
