JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible to support and work in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager (ROM), Regional Manager (RM), Sales Specialists (ESS,DTS), Field Sales Consultants (FSC), Operations Specialists, Equipment Service Technicians (ESTs), Equipment Coordinators (ECs), Sales Operations Coordinators (SOC's), and Service Dispatch (HUB) to deliver a superior customer experience by planning and project managing the installation of capital equipment. Key performance elements include overall internal and external coordination and communication delivering high quality and efficient installations and achieving overall internal and external customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the overall project management and installation of capital equipment for our customers from beginning to completion:


  • Participate and lead Equipment Planning Meetings (EPM) to provide updates to the team on project progress and solutions to issues that arise.

  • Update the Primary Project Management Software (Trello) which includes taking project notes and pictures to ensure the system is current and contains the information required for an installation.

  • Responsible for all documentation relevant to installation checklist or delegate to appropriate TSM.

  • Select lead technician and installation teams per project.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all large capital equipment installations; meet with the sales representative and contractor at initial job site meeting; and monitors progress through job completion.

  • Obtain and review all plans and spec sheet information and provides direction to tradesman.

  • Review all equipment orders to ensure accuracy of required accessories.

  • Determine project job site readiness prior to HSD installation.

  • Coordinate equipment delivery details which includes but is not limited to: ensuring the construction site is ready; communication with all 3PLs; and ensures each delivery is correct.

  • Attends project kick-off and go live date meetings and events.

  • Acts as primary contact with contractors and suppliers as it relates to the build-out and installation projects.

  • Identify and assign lead technician present at go live date.

  • Communicate with customer on the installation progress.

  • Owns the overall project punch list to completion.

  • Review with customer the proper use and care of equipment, which includes walk-through of installation guides when appropriate and coordinates initial third-party training when required.

  • Handles Disconnect/Reconnect assessment to determine man hours and need for additional trades for projects.

  • Backup to ESS for Shielding Plan Site Spec.

  • Assist ROM in risk management claims or other installation issues.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:


  • Communicate/report to Ops Specialist /ROMs of any situations with the service/installation team that can impair a positive outcome of a project to be executed to customer's satisfaction.

  • Report and collaborate with Ops Specialist or ROM on any issues that involve/require financial expenses that can impact P&L such as change orders requiring contractors to re-do work already performed, overtime required, lodging expenses, and purchase of specialty tools, etc.

  • Provide job site leadership, oversite, and accountability for project completion as scheduled per construction plan.

  • Provide coaching and guidance and constructive feedback to HSD team with respect to the installation process.

  • Communicate with ESS's/DTS's & ROM on any findings that can impair our ability to perform the job as planned.

  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that follows all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.

  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

KNOWLEDGE:

Advanced intermediate level professional; knowledge within own discipline and developing basic knowledge of organization, processes and customers. Good judgment, sound analytical ability, evaluation, originality and ingenuity required to perform tasks. Frequently apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of routine and non-routine issues.

COMPLEXITY:

Work on problems of moderate scope and impact where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures to solve a range of straightforward problems; may recommend solutions to business challenges. Demonstrate good judgment within defined procedures and practices for obtaining solutions. Build productive internal/external working relationships.

SUPERVISION:

Receive a moderate level of instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. Assignments can be broad in nature.


Qualifications

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

  • Firm understanding of all company policies and local government regulations

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
