Job Purpose


Position is based in Reading, PA. Willing to consider relocation assistance.

The primary focus of this position is to support EnerSys HR Shared Services. The HR Shared Services Payroll Specialist primary function will be processing payroll and secondary function will be a supporting the HR Department with Benefits, Reporting and additional duties as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Payroll Processing: New Hires Processing/Validation, Terminations, Employee change review, Tax Changes, Submission of Payroll via SAP Payroll.

  • Final review of Quarterly reporting thru reconciliation of SAP Payroll vs. 3Party Tax Solution.

  • Prepare & Distribute Payroll related Communications; Coordinate updates with Payroll Vendor; Coordinate/ Test with Payroll Systems Analyst on payroll-related changes.

  • HR Shared Services: Initial point of contact for Local HRBP for assistance; Primary point of contact for Employees to assist with questions including Payroll, Benefits, Processes, etc.

  • Data Integrity: Assist with Errors that occur between systems, research and determine root causes for information that is not accurate, and suggestions for improved processes.

  • Reporting: Run a variety of reports via Kronos, LiNK, and SAP Payroll based on customer needs.

  • SAP Employ Central Payroll System Release testing.

  • Kronos Workforce Dimensions-Timecard Assistance for Employees and Managers, Attendance Points Audits and Corrections, Accrual Audits and corrections, Leave of absence case entry, and System release testing.

  • Administration of Employee Stock Purchase program.

  • Payroll Processes Documentation: Update current payroll process documentation and keep processes updated.

  • Be responsible for designated client groups within Company and support local HR and Finance teams.

  • 401k Administration:Monitor and resolve incoming inquiries thru HR Ticket system.

  • Additional Duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 5 years of Payroll Processing experience.

  • Solid experience with Payroll systems.

  • Minimum 2 Years of Time & Attendance Cloud Platform.

  • Competent computer skills in MS Office.

  • Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of SAP cloud application is highly desirable but not required.

  • Knowledge of Kronos Time & Attendance and SAP Employee Central Payroll.
