The Data Analyst (DA) at Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) is an analytics-heavy role which requires an expert understanding of CCA's data assets and analytics/insights and their utility to the clinical/business organization. Meanwhile it is also a service-oriented and implementation-focused role with cross-functional expertise in clinical/business and data domains. This role conducts collaboration with many different clinical/business stakeholders to implement data/insight products (multiple concurrently) that improve:
The clinical and quality of life outcomes of CCA's member, patients, clients
The delivery of care coordination, care management, direct care, and other services to CCA's members, patients, clients.
Internally, the DA works closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to help the entire workflow of generating and maintaining data/insight products for clinical/business processes/outcomes of interest, playing an instrumental role in the team effort that builds a data-informed, compassion-guided clinical organization.
Externally, the DA leverages relationship management, coaching, and discovery practices to:
Understand the needs from stakeholders, prioritize, complete and deliver the results back
Ensure clinical/business stakeholders uptake and derive value from CCA's data/insights
In partnership with Product Managers, play the role of a data product coordinator, provide the "customer voice", and solicit regular customer feedback to shape data product development that anticipates needs or addresses deficiencies.
The DA has adjacent knowledge of data science, data engineering, product sense and analyst practices and CCA infrastructure to best perform the "bridging" actions. Besides working with functions of the Data Science team, this role is highly collaborative with other data-focused departments at CCA, including but not limited to Business Intelligence, Actuarial, and IT departments.

What You'll Be Doing
Work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers on scoping, coordinating, building, delivering and maintaining our data products
Coordinate interactions with CCA clinical/business stakeholder across departments with different background as the internal "services relationship coordinator"
Maintain our internal Looker community with hundreds of users and provide education to users on Looker and ensure the uptake of our predictive data products/platforms
Design and make Looker dashboard as front-end of our data products
Conduct data analytics using SQL or Python/R to provide insights about clinical data and answer ad-hoc questions from stakeholders, which helps CCA clinical and business leaders make better, data-informed decisions
Conduct database development using SQL and LookML to create/maintain data-table and stored procedures

Master degree or Bachelor degree + 3 years of equivalent work experience (STEM major or related field preferred)
