Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:

* Continuous assessment of cybersecurity health readiness

* Analyze security logs for potential threats.

* Identify and respond to security incidents and remediate if necessary.

* Perform continuous vulnerability management and exploit mitigation.

* Identify and implement opportunities to improve security tools, policies and procedures.

* Work with all IT teams on security compliance

Position Requirements:

* BS in computer science, information security, cybersecurity or a related field

* 7 years of experience in IT Security risk assessment (identify assets, assign and address risks)

* 7 years of experience IT Security incident response (monitoring logs, reviewing alerts, triaging and remediation)

* 3 years of experience IT Infrastructure/Operations (knowledge of servers, storage, network, etc.)

* 2 years of experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk

* 2 years of experience working with Endpoint detection/protection tools such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender

* 1 years of experience with Python or similar languages for data analysis/automation

* Candidate should have at least one (1) of the following certificates.

o GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)

o GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

o GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC)
