Job Description:

CPP-Syracuse is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Air Craft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry and has been in business for over 70 years. We have over 275 employees currently working in our Chittenango, NY facility.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for our Inside Sales department.

The primary responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is to maintain a high level of focus on customer satisfaction and to facilitate cross functional teams in order to effectively solve customer issues/concerns. This position will work as a member of the Business Unit team focused on a select group of customers and will interact with customers, sales, teammates, manufacturing personnel and suppliers.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Perform Oracle order entry process. Schedule customer delivery requirements in accordance with raw material availability.
  • Maintain the order entry system to assure accurate shipping, invoicing, terms and schedule requirements, working within established forecasting and production planning guidelines.
  • Provide purchase order acknowledgments to customer upon PO acceptance.
  • Download customer schedules weekly. Review and maintain corresponding schedules within the Oracle business system.
  • Provide customers with order status and WIP status reports on a routine basis.
  • May be called upon to assist with resolution of customer delivery delays.
  • Maintain the forecasting system in conjunction with Oracle order entry to provide accurate short-term and long-term forecast visibility.
  • Maintain applicable sales and management reports as directed by Sales Manager or Senior Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Assist in coordinating and processing Customer Returns in a timely manner.
  • May be called upon to assist in coordinating customer visits.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AAS in Business or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

1-3 years of customer service experience with manufacturing experience preferred
