Job Description:

The Sr Director, Technology Initiatives will serve as the trusted advisor to the SVP, EWS Technology and is responsible for the overall operations and effectiveness of the Office of the SVP, EWS Technology. The Sr Director, Technology Initiatives will support the senior leader in working and communicating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, including staff, business partners, EWS Technology leadership team, vendor partners, and leaders throughout the organization. The Sr Director, Technology Initiatives will ensure that the SVP, EWS Technology is focused on the most important priorities for key initiatives and strategic priorities.

 

What You’ll Do


  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all key parties are involved in the planning and execution of initiatives, special assignments, and department projects


  • Develop presentation materials and work with other leaders in the department to ensure materials are polished, meet audience expectations, and deliver on outcomes desired 


  • Work with team leaders to enable them to effectively present to senior leader


  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and managers, coordinating necessary events, activities to drive work to completion 


  • Coordinate, organize, and develop materials for Monthly Department communications, Quarterly Town Hall meetings, organizing guest speakers, special focus series, recognition activities, etc  


  • Work closely with P&E leader to help support annual financial budget planning efforts for the department 


  • Organize and coordinate staff functions and activities such as Staff meetings, Annual Calibration, Mid-Year Assessment, etc. 


  • Establish a calendar for quarterly ‘Must Wins’, schedule updates with the delivery team’s sponsor, and ensure updates are being tracked and communicated


  •  Working closely with Planning and Execution team to track key strategic initiatives for the department, ensure leaders are tracking to milestones and executing to goals


  • Work closely with the P&E Leader and assist with daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining daily action lists, assisting with initiative budgets, and tracking staffing requirements


  • Assist senior leader and department leaders with internal communication, meeting with HR Business Partner and attending to staff needs, ensuring any problems are resolved


  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization as well as the overall EFX Technology org model, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications


  • Lead employee engagement programs (such as rewards & recognition, anniversary management, etc.) partnering closely with the HR Business Partner, and building and developing relationships with employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness


  • Identify ways to improve current processes, implement improvements, and coordinate procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity


  • Develop reporting for the department as needed to track operational measurements, KPIs, Vendor engagements, and to track progress and identify/resolve obstacles


  • Coordinate overall relationship management and oversight organization with our key sourcing vendor partners. Duties include but not limited to monthly business reviews, SOW review and approval processes, metric management of staffing distribution and helping optimize ongoing operations with our partners 


  • Identify process efficiencies and institute EWS Tech org wide processes to streamline delivery, compliance, and overall daily operations


  • Oversee daily operations like generating correspondence, planning and coordinating department meetings


  • Research industry affecting topics and comprise whitepapers of the materials reviewed suggesting 2-3 options for action


  • Act as a consultant to the senior leader


  • Keep senior leaders abreast of current company climate (employee well being, project statuses outside of department initiatives, new proposals, etc.)


  • Attend senior leader meetings and deliver progress reports


  • Deliver on other projects as assigned


 

What experience you need


  • BS degree from an accredited university 


  • 7+ years of experience in a project manager role or similar role 


  • Proficient in GSuite: Google sheets, slides, etc. 


  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization


  • Encouraging, can-do attitude


  • Flexibility in work schedule as this role will require evenings and occasional weekend efforts
