How you’ll make a difference:
We seek a positive, proficient, and caring individual with demonstrated leadership aptitude to help create a successful and healthy Key Accounts team by ensuring the success of a group of up to 15 Key Account Managers and Associates. You must understand both customers and Key Account Managers, know what it takes to create successful experiences for each, and have the leadership abilities to execute. You will report to the Regional Manager and act as part of the team’s overall leadership.
What you’ll do:
Successfully lead your own team of account managers
Recruit and select new team members over time
Collaborate with the Sales Optimization and Development Coordinators to help reps get (and stay) well-trained
Oversee and analyze your reps’ performance, join customer calls to help close sales, act as a go-to person for questions and consultation, provide feedback and guidance, hold regular 1on1 and group meetings, conduct formal reviews, facilitate training and development, and maximize their job satisfaction
Spot opportunities, implement improvements, and plan staffing and coverage logistics
Create and maintain a positive team atmosphere, lead by example – modeling desired behavior and setting a positive tone through your own actions
How you’ll be measured:
This role is first and foremost about the success of your Account Managers. Accordingly, key measure of success for the position will be their:
