Job Description:

How you’ll make a difference:

We seek an inquisitive and analytical individual with strong attention to detail to support our Licensing operations processes. You will have a direct impact on our ability to fulfill customer orders in guaranteed turn times by quickly reviewing customer submitted designs for licensed content and other potentially protected material. Additionally, you will be on the frontlines of our relationships with partners tasked with adhering to their brand and style guides while working to maintain the creative integrity of our customers' designs. Additionally, you must be available for a flexible schedule that meets minimum required hours, including weekend coverage.

What you’ll do:

As a Part-Time Licensing Associate, you will primarily be responsible for design review, submission, and revision which may require direct interaction with our licensing partners via phone/email.  

You must work independently while quickly responding to team member and partner requests to handle time-sensitive customer inquiries. You will work closely with members of the Sales, Satisfaction Assurance, and Production Art teams to ensure compliance with Custom Ink content usage and intellectual property policies, as well as partner brand guidelines.  You will analyze incoming orders, and escalate content review as needed through the appropriate channels.

In addition, you will be responsible for continuing to evolve our partner knowledge base by contributing feedback received at the order level. Familiarity with this dynamic resource will be a critical component to success in this role so self directed study of this and other partner provided resources will be expected on a regular basis.

  • Must live in and perform the work within two hours of one of our hub locations: Fairfax, VA, Charlottesville, VA, Reno, NV, Irving, TX, and Dallas, TX.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes




  • Knowledge and experience with Word and Excel

What to expect:



  • Though this role is remote, hires for this role need to live in and perform the work within two hours of one of our Hub locations: Fairfax, VA, Charlottesville, VA, Reno, NV, Irving, TX, and Dallas, TX.




  • This is a part-time role with required hours that vary from 0 to 30 depending on our order volume. Peak seasons occur in the spring and fall (March-June and August-November).




  • Our schedule needs are in the evenings and on weekends.




  • We like to set up our Inkers for success! There will be one week of remote training.
