BGIS is looking for an On-Site Asset Lifecycle Management Technician to join the team in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accepting all hardware deliveries and managing asset status as it relates to the movement of assets in and out of the data center.


• Responsible for managing the spare parts inventory and RMA handling, packaging, and scheduling shipments of all equipment and assets.


• Daily auditing asset status in the data center.


• Work directly with other ALM technicians and coordinators to support the asset integration and decommissioning efforts of the data center.


• Support any additional efforts related to shipping and receiving as assigned by the ALM Lead or ALM Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years proven experience in asset management or data center shipping/receiving.


• Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized with the proven ability to work on several simultaneous projects and programs.


• Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to data center operations.


• Experience working in a team environment to provide support and excellent customer service.


• Must have great interpersonal skills and communication skills.


• Experience in asset tracking or ALM software.


• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Suite.
