Job Description:

IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Foreman - Electrician for projects in the Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska area.

Job Summary

• Supervises electricians, apprentices and other craft workers assigned to projects.


• Interprets company policies to employees, enforcing safety regulations and proper care of tools and equipment.


• Enforces and communicates all aspects of construction: safety, technology, equipment, methods, company policies, procedures, and standards.


• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.


• Complies with and enforces all company and customer safety policies and procedures.


• Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license for the State of Nebraska.


• 5 years' recent electrical experience, commercial or industrial preferred.


• Supervisory experience in an industrial electrical construction environment.


• High School Diploma/GED.


• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.


• Ability to read/write/spell/compute basic math.


• Ability to work in special environments or special shift hours/mandatory OT.


• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

*Bonus applies to candidates who possess supervisory experience and a Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Nebraska.
