General Purpose

Performs pre-settlement and/or cashiering duties in a Distribution Center in accordance with standard procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Driver Over and Short research and resolution (cash and product/load)aa


• Review and verify end of day driver paperworka


• Run daily route status report to verify that all delivery routes settleda


• Send messages to route accounting department regarding settlement issuesaa


• Check in and check out (COCI) messagesaa


• Ensure proof of deliveries are included in driver paperwork (DSD, store stamps, etc.)aa


• Perform cashiering duties including ensuring Fed-Ready status of depositaa


• Ensure security of route cashaa


• Validate proper use of cash drop logaa


• Receive and verify full service bag count.aa


• Count full service cash and finalize handhelda


• Prepare driver paperwork for Imagingaa


• Maintain driver compliance logs as necessary (DOT, DVR,aetc)aa


• Maintain cash reconciliation and driver deposit logaa


• Maintain records inasystemaroute accounting systemaa


• Review settlement exception reports and resolve issuesaa


• Prepare deposit for pick up by armored car serviceaa


• Troubleshoot handheld issues impacting settlementaa


• Work with warehouse inventory personnel to resolve SAP (inventory system) toa(sales accounting system) reconciling itemsaa


• 10% Driver Audit as required by Internal Controlaa


• Research Mail Checks, print backup and code in Payment Manageraa


• Maintain Missing Documents Loga

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.


• 2-5ayears' experienceain automated office environment required.


• Experience usingaroute accounting system preferred.


• Experience in cash room environment preferred. Basic computer and database application skills.


• Accurate data entry. Strong organizational skills.


• Sitting (80%), bending, walking and kneeling.


• Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs.
