Job Description:

As a Sr. Planner Strategy & Planning, your mission will be to integrate eCommerce into everything we do. This is a highly visible role that will partner across the organization to bring our eCommerce ambition to life. You will be responsible for defining and driving adoption of eCommerce best practices and building tools and processes to deliver an excellent consumer experience that enables GMI to win on the digital shelf.

As part of the Global eCommerce team, you will design and build real business solutions to improve the brand planning and decision-making of key stakeholders. The purpose of the Global Ecommerce team is to accelerate Ecommerce growth across GMI through capabilities, innovation and strong performance analytics.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Establish strong relationships with General Mills operating Segments, Sales, Brand Experience, Digital & Technology, and other stakeholders to drive eCommerce adoption and engagement

  • Partner with Learning & Development to create curriculum to upskill the organization in eCommerce principles

  • Monitor eCommerce industry development, trends and best practices to keep the organization apprised of changes and opportunities

  • Create tools to enable planning processes, aligning actions and budgets to bring eCommerce strategies to life

  • Identify emerging opportunities for growth, process improvement and strategic partnership within the eCommerce business. Recommend new opportunities and initiate projects.

  • Identify capability gaps and opportunities and serve as a central point to collaboratively define business needs to inform the development of solutions.

  • Help develop vision and critical elements of the strategic roadmap for delivering eCommerce ambition.

  • Support development of dynamic eCommerce channel and support strategies that will inform growth objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ years of eCommerce experience

  • Ability to influence and build relationships across a matrixed organization

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills


    • Ability to develop methodologies and execute analysis independently

    • Ability to quickly adapt and execute feedback

    • Ability to identify interesting findings within analysis and develop recommendations to redirect project focus, as needed


  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to teach and clearly communicate with wide range of audiences.

  • Learning agility and growth mindset. Demonstrated ability to work in a "self-starter" environment

  • Ability to bring clarity and action in ambiguous situations and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Ability to distill complex concepts and processes and articulate in easy-to-understand language

  • Ability to connect data to business insights

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Previous cross-functional team/initiative leadership experience.

  • Curious, creative and out-of-the-box critical thinker

  • Ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining a high level of detail orientation.

  • Ability to leverage and connect strong business and industry knowledge.
