Job Summary:


Summary:

Responsible for the installation, upgrade and support of all server and LAN operating systems, application products and server hardware.

Provides second level technical support for PC and network Customer Support calls requiring escalation.

Participates in the configuration and troubleshooting of networks and PC hardware and software.

Position Responsibilities:

* Installs client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.

* Maintains network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance.

* Maintains documentation, including but not limited to: server hardware, software, network operating systems, server based applications and configurations.

* Responds to inquiries from staff, Customer Support Center, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide daily technical assistance and level 2 support.

* Provides after-hours support as required.

* Manages assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.

* Performs disaster recovery testing and ensures integrity and recoverability of all LAN based hardware, software and data.

* Troubleshoots malfunctions of network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Minimum of three years experience in Microsoft Server system/network administration required.

Minimum two years of Microsoft Exchange User Administration preferred.

Required Education:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area or equivalent experience.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Certification in at least one Microsoft Server Grade Product required.
