Job Summary:


We are looking for a Lead operations data analyst to evaluate our company's operations and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency. The lead operations data analyst will be responsible for developing and suggesting changes and new procedures based on the thorough review and analysis of our current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures. To be successful as an operations analyst you should be able to analyze complex data sets and identify shortcomings or opportunities.


Primary Job Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to document in a machine automation environment.

  • Develop and maintain metric reporting

  • Obtain, organize, and analyze large amounts of data compiling said data to present meaningful reporting on recurring and AdHoc basis, making informed recommendations

  • Apply knowledge of data, systems and analytical tools to research and proactively improve Plant performance

  • Proactively identify and communicate opportunities to improve the Client experience and improve Westrock Coffee earnings

  • Engage with Senior Executive Operations Management to continuously improve overall efficiency and production

  • Obtain and organize data and create predictive models for production and waste reduction.

  • Timely respond to data requests providing accurate and complete information

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities through to completion

  • Ability to work independently and with others

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Experience utilizing Python, Tableau, or other analytic data gathering applications

  • Experience in developing reports for manufacturing, automation, and machine environments.

  • Advanced experience in SQL or similar software

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate and implement new ideas to improve your work and your team

  • 7 + years' experience working in Data Analytics

  • 7 + years' experience writing complex queries across multiple systems acquiring and manipulating large amounts of data

  • 7+ years' experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, procedures, and programs within technology and data analytic field

  • Advanced degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent experience required

  • Experience as a senior analyst
