The Vice President, Education Operations, is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the educational programs of Cross Country University (CCU) across the enterprise, as well as collaborating with operational teams to facilitate, improve and support operational educational and onboarding programs and processes. The VP, Education Operations will also work closely with the Company's outsourced provider of educational tools, the VP of Operations, the Chief Clinical Officer, and others to ensure competency compliance, remediation and other requested educational programs are current.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Identify and collaborate with colleagues to develop, support, maintain, and facilitate achievement of learning objectives for the enterprise
* Ensure educational activities are congruent with the Company's mission, goals, values, priorities, and resources
* Work with the Company's outsourced educational provider to facilitate environments for learning, by collaborating with the provider and colleagues throughout the Company
* Collaborate across the enterprise and with clients, if requested from time to time, to identify new learning programs required to meet their needs
* Acting as a consultant, the VP Education Operations will assist with the integration of new learning practices/programs and will train those who will be utilizing the same
* Collaborate with the Chief Clinical Officer to maintain and uphold safe, quality driven practices and programs
* Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning, delivering, and managing developmental and educational activities
* Collaborate with FAU School of Nursing on surveys, new programs and other materials to deepen relationship and expand our thought leadership
* All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
* BSN required (Master's Degree preferred)
* Prefer large acute care hospital experience or educational experience in nursing college or university
* Minimum 5 years as a Registered Nurse
* Understands medical terminology or worked in a patient care setting
* Skilled with computers, presentation software, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Must have experience managing people and collaborating with colleagues across an organization
