Position Summary:
Milliken & Company seeks a Communications Specialist to help craft and implement communications activities that support our overall strategic priorities, and specifically to partner closely with our businesses and enablers in the development of all global communications and project activations. Communications tools and channels include a global e-newsletter, company intranet, physical and digital signage, toolkits and activation packets, virtual and in-person events. Communications topics include leadership updates, product, associate, team, and location spotlights, learning and development initiatives, safety messaging, integration communications, and more. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating communications that support our 8,000 global associates in getting the information they need to be informed, engaged, and inspired at Milliken.
This person will be a savvy communicator, strong collaborator, and possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle many projects at once. As part of our Internal Communications team, this person will focus on implementing our global internal communication strategy across various channels. The ideal candidate will have outstanding writing, editing, and project management skills, and an eye for design. This person should be able to function well in a fast-paced environment, work well with cross-functional partners and be willing to develop expertise in the technologies that support the team's work.
