Director, Business Process Improvement

Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Business Process Improvement (BPI), the Director of Business Process Improvement will craft and implement strategy deployment objectives, cross functional improvement, people development, and daily management. This position will collaborate cross-functionally and with other BPI team members in the planning and delivery of the work and will be responsible for leading continuous improvement transformation efforts across ModivCare nationwide.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


The Director of Business Process Improvement will serve as an operational change leader in conjunction with regional and local leadership to drive overall operational excellence at a national level.



  • Perform as a change agent for the organization to lead large scale transformation efforts and support process improvement initiatives.

  • Facilitate change by influencing people without formal authority.

  • Identify process and/or metric gaps within specific geographies and drive actions to resolve.

  • Develop continuous improvement training curriculum and deliver both classroom and on the job education to leaders and teammates.

  • Serves as a teacher, mentor and coach for ongoing continuous improvement activities.

  • Serve as a role model in the application of continuous improvement principles and practices.

  • Develops and leads project plans related to process improvement initiatives.

  • Communicates process improvement activities, status updates and return on investment to senior leadership.

  • Conducts value stream analysis, including data collection and analytics.

  • Guides development, training and auditing of standard work.

  • Directs collection of data and supports data analysis. Prepares reports and assessments related to improvement opportunities.

  • Provide appropriate documentation to the operational sponsors and leaders.

  • Exhibits a "can-do" attitude and takes responsibility to inspire change.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience

  • 3+ years of process improvement experience


SKILLS



  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience with analytic tools (SAS, Tableau, Qlik or similar) and collaboration tools (MS Teams, Miro, or similar) preferred.

Salary: $101,186 - $155,671 annually


Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance
