Job Summary

Integrated Solutions is a globally connected team of experts who partner with our Investment, Development and Construction businesses to create unparalleled opportunities to stay ahead of the curve, win new work and manage successful project outcomes. This role is to lead the Cost Planning Function within the business, they will be responsible for setting and leading the Cost Planning strategy across Integrated Solutions and then implementation across the Development, Construction and Investment Businesses.

Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and developa Strategic Plan for Cost Planningfor the Americasin support of the Lendlease Americas Strategy and the LendleaseGlobal Cost Planning Strategy.


• Provide overall Strategic Vision for Cost Planning while owning processes and procedures utilized by project teams in Development and Construction.


• Adapt Lendlease Global Cost Planningstandardsfor implementation into the AmericanBusiness(es)


• Responsibility for all cost plans that come out of the AmericanBusiness(es)


• Develop and mentor team members and colleaguesto broaden internal expertise in the use of Cost Planning tools, including the development of appropriate training materials in conjunction with Learning and Development.


• Establish and maintain governancefor the implementation of Cost Planning on projects.


• Drive newdigitalinnovations into the businesswith a key focus onsustainability, safety, digital transformation andDfmA


• Leadsthe company's diversity and inclusion, flexibility, innovation and wellness initiatives to engage and retain top talent and establish Lendlease as an employer of choice.


• Direct Management,recruitmentand resourcingofCost Planning Leads and Managersincluding existing staff.Provide appropriate Cost Planning resources (internal and external) to meet the demands of the AmericanBusiness(es)


• Work closely with functional leads to champion the implementation of 3D (Design), 4D (Scheduling) and 5D (Cost Planning)across the business with a focus on Integrated and Design-Build projects.


• Promote the value ofdigital delivery internally and interface withkey stakeholders to advance the adoption of digital tools throughout the organization.


• Member of and provide input totheGlobalCost Planning Community of Practice, sharing innovations and best practice.


• Promote Lendlease's position as a thought leader in Cost Planning through B2B relationships, public speaking engagements, and participation in industry advisory bodies.


• Building relationships with the key leaders in the external consultant businesses


• Develop and implement benchmark processes, gathering and review.


• Ensuring the team are presenting in a consistent format and guide the team in the delivery of key messages to management


• Assessing any skills gap and working out a plan to rectify the gap


• Be involved in developing the inflation forecast

General Background and Minimum Requirements

• Four-year degree preferred.


• 15 years similar construction experience with at least 10 years cost planning experience or any equivalent combination of training and/or related experience.


• Represent the company at meetings with architects, owners and lawyers.


• Participate in marketing presentations.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
