Asphalt Plant Laborer

Job Description Summary

 

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations of OSHA/MSHA and Pennsy Supply, Inc. of the MIDA group.


• Assist the plant operator when needed.


• Remove dust from the dust silo.


• Clean materials under conveyors and plant areas.


• Operate Bobcat to scoop up leftover material around the plant.


• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the asphalt plant.


• Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

 

• Must Submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.


• Previous experience working in or around an asphalt plant helpful but not required.


• Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

 

Education/Experience

• High school Diploma or equivalent
