Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Responsible for assembling and restocking equipment for on-location blood drives. Perform weekly inventory, reorder and restock supplies as needed. Monitors and discards supplies that have reached their expiration date. Practices excellent customer service techniques. Supports the achievement of a company’s goal by following organizational and departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and safety guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.  Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

Assures quality customer service to all customers.

Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.

Assembling (set-up) of registration cases used for on-location mobile blood drives. 

Assembling (set-up) of screening cases used for on-location mobile blood drives.

Assembling (set-up) of toolboxes used for on- location mobile blood drives.

Assembling (set-up) of Alyx cases used for on- location mobile blood drives.

Assembling (set-up) of glove cases used for on- location mobile blood drives.

Assembling (set-up) of Coach case/Tool case used for on-location mobile drives.

Handles all Blood Bags appropriately.

Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge/Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Licenses/Certifications

Valid State of Illinois “C”, “D” or “A” license. An acceptable driving history is required.

Experience

None.

Skills/Abilities

Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities. 

Must be able to maintain confidentiality. 

Ability to work without direct supervision.

Ability to work/participate in a team environment.

Language skills must include the ability to read, write, speak English effectively and follow oral and written instructions consistent with policies and procedure, SOPs or other requirements.

Effective verbal and written communication skills preferred.
