Global Offer Manager - Edge Computing Solutions

Schneider Electric is looking to hire a Global Offer Manager who will work to ensure the innovative solutions of the Rack & Edge Systems group create delighted customers.

This global role will focus on development and management of solutions dedicated to our IT Alliance Partners to support Edge Computing market needs, the fastest emerging market in the IT Industry.

This role will work with various functional teams within the organization, and with partners and customers to promote our offers and achieve results. The role is involved in coordinating senior level meetings, workshops as well as seminars to promote Edge solution offers internally and externally, including efforts with strategic customers.

Through market analysis on trends/disruptions, this position will provide input to the strategic direction for the company. This requires commercial as well as technical skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional process driven global organization.

Responsibilities


  • Understand and capture customer needs and define new solution offer scope and specifications in alignment with market needs and company strategy
  • Identify market trends, disruptions and opportunities that can impact solution offer performance and drive initiatives to capitalize on it
  • Build and coordinate development roadmaps across all elements of a solution in conjunction with Line of Business product teams
  • Drive creation and management of solution design and configuration tools to support solution offers
  • Define compelling value proposition for a solution offer and develop sales tools to support it
  • Provide strategic direction for defined solutions to the sales team globally through development and deployment of offer strategy plan/playbook
  • Launch new solution offers, manage launch performance and achieve offer program objectives
  • Drive the performance of a defined solution including sales, profit, cost, market share, quality and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regularly the competitive analysis of solution offer and identify the needs for offer enhancement to keep the offer competitive and monitor cost trend
  • Define solution offer positioning in various end user applications and industry segments to drive growth
  • Participation in customer seminars, meetings, workshops and events to promote solution offers
  • Work with strategic and global marketing teams to ensure solution offer promotion through on-line, print, events, prescription, etc
  • Provide regular updates to the management on solution offer performance and initiatives

  • Engineering graduate (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) with experience in Marketing or Business Development. MBA a plus
  • Overall min 5-years of professional experience with a focus on marketing, product management, business development and similar techno-commercial roles; experience in working with channel Go-To-Market a plus
  • International work experience and flexibility to work with global teams in various time zones, the role requires frequent domestic and international travel
