POSITION SUMMARY:

Material 1 is an entry level position into the parts department. Material 1 team members are responsible for manning the parts counter to assist technicians looking for parts as well an insure parts and material are billed to WO. Material 1 team members are responsible for pulling parts and material for order delivery and stocking incoming parts and material.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize AS400 to issue material and receive PO's

Track incoming Decals, issue to jobs as needed

Pull and prepare for UPS shipments

Pull and prepare for scheduled customer delivery's

Restock vending machines

REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain 5 attendance points or less
• Complete required Material 1 courses in the LMS within the first 60 days

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Material handlers work in a shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks with the team member's hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places. Team members must be able to handle air impact tools as well as hand tools and hammers.
