The Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager, Functional Areas Recruiter will leverage their network and build recruiting strategies to bring top talents to the organization.  Utilize their leadership capabilities to develop strategic partnerships internally and externally ensuring that we utilize the latest technology in current recruiting trends and ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory and DHL’s policies. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager will partner with internal clients and HR colleagues to develop best-in-class talent identification strategies that will enable DHL Express to attract, land and retain top professional level talent.    

Key Responsibilities:     


  • Create and implement recruiting strategies and processes and developmental plans that meet assigned business division’s talent acquisition needs

  • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to develop strategies, programs, and initiatives that improve talent retention

  • Facilitates full-cycle recruiting, including but not limited to, sourcing, interviewing, and pre-employment assessments (background check, drug test, etc.)

  • Creates and executes comprehensive targeted sourcing strategy via various methods (internal Applicant Tracking System, external job boards, schools, professional associations, personal networks, etc.) for qualified active and passive candidates

  • Lead intake meetings with Hiring Managers to align on job search parameters

  • Screens resumes and interviews candidates to assess their qualifications relevant to the vacant position and cultural fit for the organization

  • Professionally presents competitive candidate pools to internal stakeholders

  • Fosters and cultivates relationships with key candidates

  • Drives final interview process to completion and offer through proactive communication

  • Serves as successful candidates chief point of contact throughout screening process

  • Manages applicant tracking flow, records maintenance and candidate dispositioning to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable laws

  • Provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to colleagues and stakeholders

  • Keep abreast of latest development of sourcing best practices, tools and recommend new strategies with meaningful measurements.

  • Partner with recruiters to provide support for candidate, leverage resources, and make recommendations for effective candidate searches.

  • Select and manage relationships with top executive search professionals and drive results on executive hiring 

  • Identify and evaluate trends on recruiting, including local and economic conditions as well as competitive institutions to develop innovative strategic plans to respond quickly to these trends

 

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age                  

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident     

  • Most poses a valid Driver’s License

  • Interacting assertively with people by making use of your excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Possessing strong project management and analytical skills to translate data to insight, intelligence, and action required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in related field or  Master’s degree and generally a minimum of 8 years’ experience in related field

  • Having depth knowledge of US OFCCOP compliance requirements

  • Having mastery knowledge of existing and emerging, technologies, processes, and recruiting practices

  • Having credibility with clients and ability to lead, influence, and drive behavior change without formal authority across a broad range of levels
