The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week, paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. In addition, through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key concepts within the divisional tracks of Business Administration, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Strategic Business Programs, and Project Management and other non-technical based degree programs.
Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Through applying for this position, you will be considered for the following internship positions:
Analytics & Data Project Management: You will support the Intake and Delivery of the Analytics & Data Division's projects. You will be partnered with our team members on the delivery of their projects. You may also lead your own project. Duties may include but not limited to the following:
IT Project Management: You will be focused on supporting the build out of our IT Division capacity planning processes. You will gain experience in helping to support strategy development and coordination for Information Technology
Records & Information Management: You will be exposed to initiatives that support applying lifecycle management to the company's paper and electronic documents. You will be supporting paper records onsite catalog, supporting the migration of content to Microsoft SharePoint, and creating an Annual Review Process.
COBRA & Premium Billing: Within this position, your leader and you will review a couple of projects to determine the specific project that you will be working on that aligns to your learning & development path. You will engage in all aspects of the projects including discovery and measure of success. You will be overseeing the projects though aligned to a Subject Matter Expert for guidance & direction, as needed
Client Services: You will be assisting with the realignment of our existing customer data in our enterprise systems and also assist as needed with client facing projects
Pega Project Management: Through this position, you will be assisting with the implementation of Pega Applications by partnering with Business Architects to develop deliverables such as identifying and defining process flows and use cases, through to user acceptance testing and implementation, supporting the preparation, facilitation and documentation of design sessions with various business teams, and providing input on the development of procedures and standards for development.
Workforce Management: Within this role, you will be working on the Workforce Management Team, a support team for Customer Operations, which is responsible for forecasting the staffing needs of the operational units , and then planning and executing accordingly. You will be supporting:
Lean Six Sigma: You will be assisting the team with process improvement projects, data analysis and project management. You will be also supporting process improvement to automated technology solution
Customer Operations - Claims: Claims Process Improvement
Enterprise Project Management: You will be supporting a Project Manager & learning the Project Management area
Enterprise Intake Process: You will be assisting with launching a new Project Management platform and developing a resource capacity planning tool
Minimum Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, OneNote, Project, Sharepoint), Visio, Lean Six Sigma, Strong Communication Skills
Desired majors include: Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, Process Improvement, Data Management, Software Engineering, Communications, Marketing, Management, Analytics, Computer Science, or Analytics
