RESPONSIBLITIES: 

- Lead the team to execute to all safety, quality and delivery expectations 

- Maintain clean and organized work areas

- Safety and operational training for production team

- Assess daily production requirements and move manpower to meet customer demands

- Utilize the AS400 system to verify order requirements and inventory info

- Make decisions that balance top notch customer service with managing costs

- Perform material handling duties and support loading trucks

- Back up supervisor and support with training initiatives 

- Verify production requirements are met

- Verify inventory is being managed correctly

- Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB (Computer, Programs, AS400): Computer, Microsoft Office applications, AS400 ERP system, forklifts, side-loader forklifts, pallet jacks, tape measure, micrometer, caliper, feeler gauge, taper gauge, Chop / meter saw, various hand tools (hammer, pry bar, circular saw, reciprocating saw, etc.), overhead crane w/attachments

MATERIAL & PRODUCTS: Wooden pallets, PVC, wood sheathing, various sizes / weights/ gauges of aluminum and steel APPLICABLE METHODS USED (Procedures, Manuals, Associated References): Samuel policies and procedures, ISO Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, various equipment operation manuals

REQUIREMENTS: 

- Able to lead teams in fast paced environment with safety as priority 

- Willingness to learn continued skills/safety knowledge 

- Good communication skills and works with positive attitude 

- Excellent attendance a must - Able to lift up to 50 lbs. 

- Proficiency using AS400
