Job Description:

Job responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex credit documentation, determine its feasibility and provide feedback and recommendations as warranted

• Provide feedback to deal structuring team on operational market trends and any preferred deal structure

• Determine if any other groups need to review the documentation and ensure they are included, if necessary

• Responsible for accurate and timely set up of all agency-related systems for all US, DNT and CAD system deal structures

• Decide the most effective way to build the deal on the system and ensure all agency systems are in sync

• Ensure the accounting team obtains all data necessary for proper accounting of the fees

• Provide guidance to all parties involved, acting as a teacher for any group that may not be familiar with syndicated loans

• Confirm all conditions to precedent have been met and compliance items are received


  • Ensuring all fundings and fees are accurately & timely wired to meet the established closing Service Level Agreements.

• Coordinating with the syndicate group/lenders on closing activity

• Demonstrating accurate and timely completion of customer service and research

• Minimizing credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

• Ability to solve problems and make risk assessment decisions

• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Highly motivated self-starter

• Basic knowledge of the JPMC standard system, Loan IQ/Exposure Now/Client Central/Intralinks/ARC applications preferred

• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing work

• Works with sense of urgency; seeks out and adapts to best practices; seeks constant improvement; motivated by personal and departmental goals

• Candidates are comfortable on the phone; possess a desire to own and resolve items; pleasant and professional demeanor

• Readily share information with peers and managers; can coach others; willing to assist wherever needed; works toward team success and goals

• Proficient in use of all MS Office programs; can navigate multiple applications making use of shortcuts; can quickly adopt new systems
