Our Ideal Candidate

Our organization recently underwent a significant reorganization and expansion and we’re seeking a strategic thought leader who can manage an expanded Workday team and optimize the system for our new operational reality. The HRIS Leader is a Workday Subject Matter Expert and will provide leadership, planning, change management, and project management for the design and optimization of Workday across our four affiliated businesses. The manager will work closely with our HR leaders, our shared services staff, and other stakeholders to help solve business problems, introduce new operational capabilities, improve the employee experience, and position the enterprise for additional growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Serve as the lead Workday Subject Matter Expert


• Manage a team of 4-5 Workday analysts


• Collaborate closely across internal business units to define current needs, anticipate future needs, and effectively address pain points using a consultative, problem-solving approach


• Identify gaps and assess and prioritize enhancements to better meet business needs


• Manage the design and implementation of Workday integrations and enhancements


• Provide thought leadership to maximize the effectiveness and ROI of Workday across the enterprise

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Workday implementation and system management experience


• Ability to understand business operations and how to apply HRIS strategy to drive performance outcomes


• Bachelor’s Degree


• Workday Pro certifications in at least two areas, more preferred


• 4 years of configuration management, testing, and application management


• At least two years of strong supervisory experience (developing, mentoring, and leading people analytics teams; establishing and monitoring key metrics; and ensuring deadlines for deliverables are met)


• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical aptitude


• Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution


• Strong project management skills


• Strong analytical skills


• Strong technical knowledge of the Workday system


• Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with associates and managers
