About the Role

You will be part of an essential revenue-producing team that is responsible for providing cash flow daily for our customers. You will play a critical role, making a difference every day, by efficiently and accurately servicing industries such as Healthcare, Utilities, Trucking and Energy.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist area Leads with monitoring the workflow in the Remittance Departments and to provide input and suggestions to the management team concerning production status. You will also assist in establishing standard operating procedures, developing new processors and providing feedback to the management team as needed. During peak times, you will be the go-to person to process customer accounts and/or assist with quality control issues or workloads.

Everything has to be completed to service level objectives for our Wholesale and Retail customers. Your manager and leadership team will help you as you continuously learn new things. How You'll Spend Your Time


  • You will assist the lead and manager in monitoring daily work-flow to ensure scheduled deadlines are met.

  • You will identify, research and offer solutions to management regarding workflow issues that require experience/knowledge beyond the processor I & II level. You will train new hires to process payments according to client instructions in order to complete all phases of the process flow.

  • You will perform all remittance processes and provide feedback on new hire progress, as well as assist where needed in the daily operations of the department.

  • You will extract, balance, and execute transmissions through automated means. You will review and correct customer reports and data files. You will supervise staff and direct personnel to ensure that work is completed and deadlines are met.

  • By using solid knowledge of the base operating systems, you will recommend modification in procedures, organization and standards to improve operating efficiency and work with support personnel in implementing system processes. You will correct processing issues as they arise and leverage system knowledge to trouble shoot and determine the cause of technical system problems.

  • You will be able to effectively complete reports, such as training/employee status, system issues, employee volume, incident reports and quality statistics. You will assist in various other functions within the Remittance area, as well as perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

  • You will stand in and perform the role of a Lead Clerk or Quality Control Clerk when the need arises.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school and 3-5 years of experience in remittance or remittance related operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
