Description of Duties:
As a part of the EcoStruxure™ Power Solutions team, the essential responsibility of the Validation Test Leader is to help organize and complete IV&V test activities within an iterative development environment for new multi-technology solutions. In this position your responsibilities will include:
Review Use Cases, Requirements and Design Specifications
Create Test Plans and work with the global test leaders and lab resources to meet project deliverables and schedules
Analyze gaps in resources to execute Test Plans and coordinate solutions as needed
Write Test Cases based on templates and best practices
Execute tests according to test plans and manage resources as needed
Manage Baselines, develop test architectures, and maintain lab equipment across test cycles
Oversee defect reporting and traceability processes and develop reports as needed
Work with Change Control Boards to categorize defect and customer pain points
Maintain subject matter expertise and coach the system team members through test activities
Responsible for regression and non-regression activities
Work to improve system processes involving Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V)
Required Skills
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering field with 3 years experience testing with complex multi-technology systems including cloud connectivity
Hands-on experience with defect and task tracking tools such as JIRA, TeamForge, or similar
Hands-on experience with requirement and test case database tools such as JAMA, TeamForge, or similar
Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced technical driven environment
Ability to self-manage, multi-task and learn new skills quickly
Experience writing test cases and test plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills
Ability to travel to Schneider Electric and customer sites worldwide
Experience working with local, near shore and global project teams
Preferred Skills
Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering field with 5 years of experience performing multi-technology solutions IV&V testing including IIoT solutions
Experience in Energy Management and/or Electrical Distribution
Experience with Modbus, Ethernet, CAN bus, or other communication and network protocols
Experience with IoT and/or IIoT technologies
Great leadership skills and ability to influence partners and stakeholders internally and externally
Strong knowledge of network services and devices
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard documentation tools
