Come join a growing bank at the heart of the innovation, technology, green tech and life sciences space. We continue to expand our global footprint and our banking technology is at the core of everything we do.

Work within our Risk and Compliance Technology group and be part of a team that helps ensure our applications and technology are able to deliver the capabilities to support our growing banking operations, as well as support our expansion roadmap. You will work closely with cross-functional business, IT and vendor teams to ensure we are delivering the right-sized solutions to meet current, future and long-term needs in support of our banking product processing and continuing expansion efforts.

We are looking for a Principle Software Engineer, to work on delivering a multi-tenant, scalable and secure SaaS platform with a microservices architecture. Does this sound like you?

Core responsibilities include:

  • Define, design and build secure, reliable, large-scale, high-transaction and high-performance application architectures


  • Hands-on Full Stack Engineer, lead and drives solutions' development contributing to the Product roadmap.


  • Provide thought leadership and hands-on support to develop Financial Crime Domain / SaaS AI/ML and Analytics solutions, utilizing scalable API design, web/visualization/analytics frameworks, and cloud architectures.


  • Ensure all non-functional aspects of solutions address in the product releases and deployments, including scalability, availability, security, maintainability, and supportability


  • Design complex test cases and work with the QA team to ensure quality product releases.


  • Create and maintain design and architectural artifacts. Ensure uniform architecture and design standards are maintained


  • Promote strong collaboration with cross functional teams including data engineering, UX and Product Management.


  • Conduct research/POC on relevant emerging technologies in support of solution development efforts and make recommendations


  • DevOps Focus -Utilize and advance continuous integration and deployment frameworks;


  • Research, evaluate and utilize new technologies/tools/frameworks centered around high-volume data processing in a cloud agnostic way


  • Design and implement distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the big data ecosystem;


  • Work with business stake holders and architecture engineering leads to ensure quality solutions are implemented and engineering standard methodologies adhered to;


  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction, a sense of intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and positivity.


  • Mentor an engineering team through hands-on leadership, while providing an inclusive environment for a global team.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 12+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production.


  • Understanding OpenAPI standards, REST and gRPC.


  • Strong API analytical skills and defining service contacts.


  • Expertise in building modern microservices that are fault-tolerant, highly available, highly scalable, maintainable, and secure.


  • Plugin development experience for major cloud service providers or CI / CD tools will be a huge plus.


  • Have demonstrable expertise working with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additional experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud API preferred.


  • Have the ability to quickly translate a vision into a working prototype or MVP.


  • Understanding DevOps process and CI/CD tools( e.g., Jenkins, Github actions, GitLab runners).


  • Should be aware of Kubernetes and container internals.
