Assist patients with performing activities of daily living when delegated by RN. Obtains vital signs on patients and reports to assigned nurse. Keeps the nurse up-to-date on any changes in patient information. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a High School Diploma or Equivalent. EMT certified (First Response, Basic, Advanced, or Paramedic), Certified Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in a School of Nursing preferred. Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/CPR) within 3 months of hire and maintain current certification. Experience in the Emergency Department or other related healthcare experience preferred.
