A Day in the Life
This position will be responsible for the execution of New Product Development (NPD) projects focused on next generation Diabetes management systems such as continuous glucose monitoring systems, insulin pumps and pens. The person will be working closely with the Lead Systems Integrator (who is the R&D core team member) and cross functional project team members to lead project management activities to drive execution of NPD projects. In addition to supporting the Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) on the overall project management aspects such owing schedule, tracking risk burndown activities, and tracking project milestones, the selected candidate will also work on project management infrastructure (metrics, reporting, administration, business reviews etc.) and will also contribute to implementing best practice tools and techniques in project management within NPD projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Typically, an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.
