We are looking for Oracle PL/SQL Developers to join our growing development teams. As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing PL/SQL packages for meeting client requirements. In this role you will be a member of the Development team and report directly to the Development Manager.


**Position will work remote, but candidates based in Atlanta, GA, Washington DC area or Lansing, Michigan preferred.


Responsibilities Include:



  • Participate in internal solution design discussions with other senior team members and the Business Analysis team to understand the system design and business functions.

  • Support senior development staff in completing gap analysis and analyzing impact of system software

  • Document software component specifications in detailed technical design

  • Develop SQL code, PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions in accordance with the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision

  • Write and execute unit test cases for the developed codes

  • Participate in code review sessions and analyze code to find causes of errors

  • Use SVN version management to manage various versions of the procedures and functions of the application.

  • Continue enhancing your own SQL, PL/SQL skills on new practices, frameworks and standards

  • Gather data, perform analysis, draw conclusions, and present findings to senior developers

  • Follow quality, security and compliance requirements designated for supported area

Experience/Preferred Skills Required:



  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated experience in PL/SQL, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, creating database tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and functions.

  • Knowledge of SQL performance tuning, hints, and indexes

  • Working knowledge in relational databases and concepts, preferably Oracle.

  • Experience and knowledge of version control and defect management tools.

  • Federal or State government related programs preferred.

  • Proven record of organizational skills with analytical and reasoning skills to troubleshoot and solve problems

  • Ability to use reasoning to troubleshoot, solve, and escalate technical problems.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint applications, MS Teams and Jira preferred
