Director, IT Infrastructure at Cotiviti

Description

As the IT director you will be responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure for Cotiviti. You will be overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals and coaching the managers within the organization. Directing the effective delivery of networks, telephony, systems, storage, and disaster recovery as well as processes.


Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:



  • Responsible for critical IT systems and services across the enterprise including defining, implementing and operational management of enterprise IT platforms both in corporate offices and datacenter facilities.

  • Responsible for planning, augmentation, monitoring, and capacity assessment of key IT systems and services.

  • Evaluate, plan and provide leadership to strategic technology initiatives. Drive innovation and collaboration between technology and operations in order to meet emerging business requirements.

  • Responsible for overall IT risk management including development and testing of business continuity and DR contingency plans.

  • Define, control and report on overall IT performance objectives and key process metrics to ensure compliance with effective internal and external service level agreements and objectives.

  • Participate in the setting of objectives, performance standards/measures and development plans for the IT team as a member of the Technology leadership team.


Preferred Skills:



  • Coordinate, develop, and maintain production and capacity plans for various service lines in accordance with customer demand.

  • Manage the communication, process revisions, and forecasting of production and capacity plans to senior management.

  • Independently monitor existing inventory levels to maintain optimal client service.

  • Communicate effectively with executive management to ensure vertical operational alignment.

  • Review historical data to improve future forecasting. Develop models and tools to improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Organize research and recommend solutions on projects assigned to and/or enhance delivery. Create ad-hoc analyses to support proposed next steps.

  • Manage vendor relationships that pertain to the effective delivery of production and ensuring capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles


Requirements



  • BS Degree in Computer Science/MIS or technically related field or Master's degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with IT systems and IT management at a senior level with progressively responsible experience in large and diverse business settings. Familiarity with health care organizations and controls is expected.

  • Broad IT infrastructure and application architecture knowledge with proven track record of evaluating, planning and implementing enterprise-level turnkey projects in complex business environments.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of formal information security standards and best practices. Knowledge of HIPAA standards and first-hand experience with SSAE16 SOC2 Type II, ISO27002, NIST or similar security standards and audit processes.

  • Good understanding of IT Governance policies and procedures, ITIL methodologies and tools, and demonstrated business savvy to recognize and align key business and technology goals.

  • Demonstrated project and team management skills and ability to track and report progress against established milestones, metrics and deliverables.

  • Must possess strong communication, leadership, managerial, interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills, along with strong personal and professional integrity.
