Summary of Job Duties:

Program Technician duties will include assisting with sponsored projects related to poultry health, preparation and maintenance of media/materials required for general laboratory use and experiments, animal care (intermittent), cleanup and setting up animal isolation rooms/barns, sample collection, data entry, data analysis, and preparing reports. The candidate must have experience with general microbiological techniques, serology, and basic diagnostic techniques for disease surveillance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should hold a bachelor of science degree in poultry science, animal science, or agricultural sciences.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience related to animal health.

Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience.
